EarthSoft Announces the Release of EQuIS Professional 5.5 LakeWatch

EarthSoft is pleased to announce the release of EQuIS Professional LakeWatch version 5.5. An extensive quality assurance process preceded this release, including many hours of testing by EarthSoft staff and members of the EQuIS community.
We encourage you to review the release notes for a detailed description of the exciting features and improvements in this release. A few of the highlights are listed here:
- Lake Results Report now available with many new and exciting parameters for more efficient data querying
- Improved support for EQuIS unit conversions to report and visualize results, in different units, together in a responsible, normalized fashion
- Carlson TSI Report now available as standard report
- Annual/Monthly Averages report now allows querying by discrete depth range and individual analyte or analyte group
- Annual/Monthly Averages report collects samples by month then by year to normalize collections and reduce sampling bias
- Annual/Monthly Averages report no longer weighs periods of collection inactivity in mean calculation
- Vertical Profile tool efficiency improved
- Improved Oracle Database compatibility
- LakeWatch ERD now available w/ signed NDA

EarthSoft Announces EQuIS Version 5.5

EarthSoft announced today the release of EQuIS Version 5.5. The new versions of EQuIS Enterprise, EQuIS Professional, EQuIS for ArcGIS Desktop, and EQuIS Data Processor (EDP) contain over 400 new features and bug fixes. An extensive quality assurance process preceded this release, including over two thousand hours of testing by EarthSoft staff and members of the EQuIS community. Many clients use our Action Levels Report to compare chemical data to Action Levels. If using Federal, State and Risk Based action levels, the list can become quite extensive. Implementing the Action Level Group Tree feature can help group the different action levels to help make them more manageable when runnning the Action Level Report.
In this Office Hours session, a member of the EarthSoft Help Desk team will provide a demonstration on how the Action Level Group Tree feature can help you manage our Action Levels.
This session will be held at 11am EDT (-5 GMT) and 6pm EDT (-5 GMT) on November 11th.

This release reflects significant efforts in development, input from both EarthSoft personnel and our invaluable clients, as well as being the most tested release to date.
The release notes are currently available, but in this Office Hours session, a member of the EarthSoft Help Desk will review highlights of this new release.
