Software Developers
Description As a member of the EarthSoft Development team, you will assist in the development of EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System (EQuIS) product line. You will work closely with other developers, client managers, and support technicians to maintain, develop, and support the most widely used environmental data management system in the world. You will be involved in client-driven, agile development using Microsoft .NET technologies. Occasional travel may be required as you assist with the development and deployment of the system.

Skills Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (in English)
  • Ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools
  • High initiative; ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work from home with access to a high-speed internet connection
  • 1-3 years experience in object-oriented development (preferably in Microsoft .NET)
  • Familiarity with agile development
  • Experience with database development including Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle
  • Environmental knowledge/experience is highly desirable but not required
Environmental Data Management Support Analysts
Description As a member of the EarthSoft Help Desk team, you will be responsible for providing Tier 1 support for our clients. This support will be provided via email, telephone, and/or Microsoft Live Meeting. Some travel is required. A broad range of troubleshooting skills is required in order to support the installation and use of EQuIS, EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System.

  • Strong customer service/support skills including active listening, excellent verbal and written communication; ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools; experience in a support environment desirable.
  • Strong software application aptitude; experience with EQuIS highly desirable but not required.
  • High initiative, which includes: ability to work with minimal supervision, and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; superior interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work from home with access to a high-speed internet connection.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental or Geological Sciences (or similar), or Geography highly desirable.
  • Basic Microsoft Windows Platform knowledge required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

EQuIS Data Processor (EDP)™
and Enterprise EDP provide workflow automation for Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) checks and submissions.

EDP is the most widely used EDD checker in the world. EQuIS Data Gathering Engine (EDGE)™ and EDP manage multiple field and lab EDD formats, collecting data from dataloggers, tablets, laptops, or PDAs.

Plan ahead with EQuIS Sample Planning Module (SPM)™ and easily assign contracts, methods and labs before field activities -- and/or incorporate a Completeness Report for scheduled analyses.

Build – Serve – Push Graphics and Reports

Build - Access standard and GIS reports in EZView™, create reports as you need them, and preview and export your data.

Serve - Create Pick Reports for your team members, so they can generate reports as they're needed.

Push - Monitor incoming data with Environmental Information Agents (EIA™), watch for triggers or specific dates, and generate email reports for posting to dashboards.
