EQuIS 309 – Advanced EnviroInsite
March 16, 2012
Attendees will learn how to make the most of EnviroInsite’s cross-section building features. Create a section, post and contour data. Then plot stratigraphy and chart downhole geophysical data on the section. Next, work with imported ground surface and bedrock data to enhance the section appearance. Lastly, learn how to work with layouts to generate report-ready graphics, export them to pdf and print to-scale.

Trainees will review all of the different EDGE configuration options. Also, trainees learn how to set-up advanced action levels and field templates to use in EDGE. Trainees learn how to set-up their own COC templates to use in EDGE.
EQuIS 304 – Excel Templates with Crosstab

- Formatting headers and footers
- Applying templates to Crosstab reports
Trainees use Excel templates in conjunction with EQuIS crosstab reports, specifically to associate different parts of the template to the tabbed data, column header, and row header sections of a Crosstab Report. Additionally, trainees learn to set-up headers and footers in a report to draw information from the DT_FACILITY table in the EQuIS facility that data is exported from.
EQuIS 306 – EDD Format Customizations

- Remapping and renaming format fields
- Adding format fields
- Editing the enumeration file
Trainees will view .xsd, .vb, and .enum sections of a standard EQuIS format. Trainees make changes to a format, renaming and adding fields, learning to remap fields and add enumerations to an EDD format.

The EQuIS Interface to Leapfrog

In this Office Hour presentation, Thomas Cook and Thomas Krom of ARANZ, with assistance of EarthSoft’s Scot Weaver, will present Geo’s Leapfrog Hydro, an integrated 3D software solution for hydrogeological modeling. The EQuIS to Leapfrog Hydro export will be demonstrated, along with 3D geological modeling and groundwater modeling tools such as Modflow and FEFLOW. Chemical results stored within the EQuIS database will be viewed and interpolated within the Leapfrog Hydro model.
