How to determine your version of .NET Framework You can check your version of .NET Framework by clicking Start on your Windows desktop, selecting Control Panel, and then double-clicking Uninstall a Program. When that window appears, scroll through the list of applications and locate the Microsoft .NET Framework applications. Confirm the version number in the right-most column. Please note that determining the actual version of the .NET Framework installed on a machine can be somewhat confusing, as there are different versions/releases that correlate to the same framework.
