EQuIS 5 IDEF

Intelligent Data Entry Forms (IDEFs) reduce the error and inconsistency that so frequently occurs when data are observed in the field and manually entered into a notebook or on a logsheet. Custom-designed to retain the look and feel of the hardcopy log, IDEFs have the added advantage of using dropdown lists to reduce the amount of writing/typing that is necessary and to eliminate misspellings. IDEFs also eliminate the need to enter the same value in over and over again. Once data have been collected from one or many locations, IDEFs automatically generate the EDD files which are then imported into EQuIS.
