Rockworks

RockWorks ® is a geological data management, analysis, and visualization software package useful for multiple environmental, mining, oil and gas, and educational applications. RockWorks2002 users can use many utilities including gridding tools and algorithms; 2D and 3D mapping and contouring capabilities; solid modeling; 2D and 3D volumetrics calculations; stratigraphic diagrams including strip logs, cross sections, and fence diagrams; statistics; 2D and 3D feature analysis including rose diagrams, stereonet diagrams, and lineation gridding; hydrology/drawdown surfaces; digitizing; and coordinate conversions. Additional RockWorks2002 features include: spreadsheet data management; custom-design templates; geological tools; import of ASCII files; export capability to DXF, BMP, JPG, EMF, and WMF; solid model export to ASCII, NOeSYS, and Slicer Dicer formats; symbol, pattern, and text editors; display of graphic symbols, colors, and line styles in the data sheet; hyperlinks to accessory files containing downhole data, graphic images, etc.; graphics file rescaling and combining; printer/plotter scaling; context-sensitive help messages; on-line tutorials; toolbar buttons; and customizable menus and toolbars.
