EDP Format for Montana DEQ

EDP Download Instructions:

1. Click the “EQuIS Data Processor” link above to start the download.
2. Select Run when asked if you want to run or save the file.
3. Select Run again when asked if you want to run the software.
4. The installation wizard will launch.  Follow the wizard instructions to complete installation.

EDD Format Download Instructions:

1. Click the “Montana DEQ Format (EXE)” link above to start the download.
2. Select Run when asked if you want to run or save the file.
3. Select Run again when asked if you want to run the software.
4. A window will appear indicating where the format will be installed.  Verify the format will be installed to C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS\Formats\MTDEQ_WQX .
5. Select Install.

NOTE: If you have problems downloading the .exe version, download the .zip version of the format.  Detailed instructions for downloading the .zip version can be found in the MT-eWQX Guidance Manual.

EDD Reference Value Download Instructions:

1. Click the “Montana DEQ Reference Values” link above to start the download.
2. The reference value file will open in the Internet Explorer window.
3. In the File menu, select Save As.
4. Save the reference value file in the following directory: C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS\Formats\MTDEQ_WQX.  The file MUST be saved as MTDEQ_WQX.rvf.
5. Select Save.  When asked if you want to replace the file, select Yes.

How to determine if you already have the .NET Framework version 3.5

You can check to see if you already have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed by
clicking Start on your Windows desktop, selecting Control Panel,
and then double-clicking Add or Remove Programs. When that
window appears, scroll through the list of applications. If you see Microsoft
.NET Framework 3.5 listed, the latest version is already installed and you do
not need to install it again.
