Updating the Peabody Format

• To update your Peabody format reference values, install the Reference Value File above.
• To update to the current Peabody format, install the Peabody Format file above. Also, if dated more recently than the format, install the Reference Value File.

Installing the Peabody Format

• To install the Peabody format (if you already have EDP 5.3 installed) download and install the Patch, Peabody Format, and Reference Value File (if dated more recently than the format).
• To install EDP and the Peabody Format for the first time, install everything: EDP, Peabody Format, Patch, and Reference Value File (if if dated more recently than the format).

Note: Each download is a .zip file that must be extracted/unzipped, and the extracted executable (.exe) files automatically install to the default location (C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS\Formats\<format name>). If EQuIS is installed in a different directory, you will be prompted to install these files in the appropriate location.

Registration Instructions:

1. Open the Format file in EDP.
2. Click the Register button on the EDP Evaluation Screen.
3. Select the link below the New Key Codes box to request a registration key for your workstation.

How to determine if you already have the .NET Framework version 3.5

You can check to see if you already have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed by clicking Start on your Windows desktop, selecting Control Panel, and then double-clicking Add or Remove Programs. When that window appears, scroll through the list of applications. If you see Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 listed, the latest version is already installed and you do not need to install it again.
