										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has rolled out its Montana EQuIS Water Quality Exchange &#8212; or MT-eWQX &#8212; a central repository for water quality monitoring data.</p>
<p>Montana&#8217;s <a href="http://deq.mt.gov/wqinfo/datamgmt/MTEWQX.asp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Web page for MT-eWQX</a> provides guidance for submitting water quality data to the database, such as physical, chemical, biological, and habitat data from a variety of projects across the state.</p>
<p>Data submitted to MT-eWQX is submitted to EPA’s National STORET Warehouse, fulfilling the STORET requirement of environmental monitoring projects funded by federal monies, such as 319 grants or 106 funds.</p>
