As an EQuIS user, you have the option of hosting EQuIS yourself, or letting EarthSoft or a consultant host it for you. In fact, several of EarthSoft’s clients who already take advantage of EQuIS Online benefit from it being one of the most inexpensive ways to receive EQuIS.
Other advantages are that you can change hosting companies or you can bring the server in house… all without disrupting your data management operations.
EQuIS Online is currently hosted on multiple, redundant servers throughout the US and in the United Kingdom. Dedicated or shared servers are available, in SQL Server or Oracle.
Pricing structures are:
EQuIS Online: by size of the database, or by your actual usage and activity… Or “Pay Per View” EQuIS: a per-database, per-Report, and per EDD basis (letting you direct-bill costs, use only what you need, and never exceed a monthly cost ceiling of Processor User pricing.)
